Jayant Rakhan, Partner Baker Tilly Berk in the Netherlands to Speak at X2 2017 Conference

Jayant Rakhan, partner of the Indirect tax practice of Baker Tilly Berk in the Netherlands will be a featured speaker at the 2017 Annual Conference. Rakhan is also Chairman of the EMEA Indirect Tax Committee.

As Indirect tax partner Jayant advises a broad range of national and international clients on VAT issues. He provides VAT advisory (and VAT compliance) services on a wide range of international VAT issues. Jayant’s work includes amongst others the structuring of cross border transactions for national and international clients, coordination of multiple country VAT assignments, negotiation with the Dutch tax authorities and also representing clients in court cases.

Rakhan is also the chair of the EMEA Indirect Tax Committee. The committee develops and expands the indirect tax practice of Baker Tilly International, wants to create an international network that can provide international clients with high level indirect tax services and shares knowledge on international indirect tax issues.  Jayant is also a regular writer and lecturer on Dutch and cross border VAT issues. As a judge in the Dutch law courts he deals with VAT litigation.
